Hi, I'mBerke Zerelgil.

Mathematics & CS Student · Aspiring Product ManagerMath, data, and team leadership — on the road from data analyst to product manager.

I'm a final-year Mathematics & Computer Science student at Osmangazi University. Over the last two years I've led a 100-member technology club, digitized the operations of a traditional Turkish company, and mentored students through an AI club. My plan is the long game: start in data analysis to sharpen my number sense, grow into product ownership, and become the kind of product manager who can both read the spreadsheet and ship the roadmap.

01 — About

A math student on the road to product.

I'm a fourth-year Mathematics & Computer Science student at Osmangazi University. Outside of class, I lead MACS Club (100+ members) and run digital transformation projects for a traditional Turkish company — turning paper-based workflows into tools people actually open every day.

My plan is the long game: start in data analytics to ground every decision in numbers, grow into product ownership, and become the kind of PM who can both read the spreadsheet and ship the roadmap.

Math as a decision tool

Statistics, probability, and a stubborn habit of asking 'what does the data actually say?' — the foundation I want to bring to every product decision I make.

Data-first product thinking

I'm starting in data analytics on purpose. Before owning a roadmap, I want to be the person in the room who can read the dashboard and ask the right next question.

Operator at heart

Whether it's digitizing a family business or running a 100-member club, I've spent the last two years learning how teams actually ship — requirements, cadence, follow-through.

The long game

Data analyst → product owner → product manager. I'm not in a rush for the title — I'm in a rush to be useful, and I'm building the foundation that compounds.

02 — Toolkit

The tools I think with.

I'm comfortable across the stack, but I'm a believer in depth. These are the tools I keep returning to — and the ones I'd pick if I had to ship something tonight.

Mobile Inventory Tracking System

Designed and shipped a mobile-first inventory tracking system for a traditional forestry-products company. Replaced manual stock counts with a real-time tool the warehouse team actually uses — built on AppSheet + Google Sheets, owned end-to-end from requirements to rollout.

MACS Club — Operating System

Built the operating system for a 100+ member technology club: task delegation pipelines, weekly reporting cadence, event execution playbooks, and a structured mentorship pathway. Running a student organization the way I'd want to run a product team.

Cross-Department Workflow Automation

Mapped operations across inventory, accounting, and marketing teams, then closed information gaps with automated reports. Established a daily reporting cadence that gave managers same-day visibility instead of weekly summaries.

MACS Tech Events & Workshop Series

Co-designed and ran large-scale workshops and summits — from speaker logistics to UI/UX for event collateral. Treated events as a product: defined the attendee journey, iterated on feedback after each cohort.

Building people, not just products.

The best work I've done has happened around tables — with students, mentors, and friends willing to disagree well. Here's where I show up beyond the keyboard.

Competitive athlete with an official Ministry-issued license. A reminder that consistency, training, and showing up matter as much in product work as they do on the track.

05 — Career journey

How I got here, year by year.

A short version of a longer story. Each step taught me something I'm still using — and the curve is steeper than ever.

  1. Wrapped MACS presidency · pivoting to data & product

    2026

    Eskişehir, Türkiye

Closed out my MACS Club presidency in February and shifted focus to the next chapter: finishing the B.Sc. and lining up a data analyst internship — the first concrete step toward product management.

  2. Elected President & Project Lead — MACS Club

    2025

    Osmangazi University

Took ownership of a 100-member technology club. Rebuilt internal processes around clearer task delegation, weekly reporting, and a real mentorship pipeline — and finished the term in Feb 2026.

  3. Joined Denizim as Digital Transformation Intern

    2024

    Adana, Türkiye

Spent six months turning a paper-based SME into a digital one — first a mobile inventory app, then accounting and reporting systems. My first taste of what 'product' really means in the real world.

  4. Supervisor & English Mentor — AI Club

    2024

    Osmangazi University

Helped run university-wide AI events and founded an English mentorship program inside the club. Learned how much of a tech community is operations.

  5. Started B.Sc. in Mathematics & Computer Science

    2022

    Osmangazi University, Eskişehir

Chose the double-major program for its mix of rigor and applicability — strong foundations for the data side of product work.

  6. Graduated high school + earned Athletics License

    2022

Arif Nihat Asya Anatolian HS, Adana

Finished high school and got a Ministry-issued Athletics License the same year. A discipline I still rely on.

06 — Certifications & achievements

Signals along the way.

I don't collect credentials for their own sake — but each of these represents a chapter I cared enough to finish.
